Singer/Songwriter and Concert King MARTIN NIEVERA to debut in Palm Springs, CA on Dec. 14, 2006 for Bantay Bata Benefit

Philippine Concert King Martin Nievera is set to perform for the Fil-Am Society of Coachella Valley on Thursday, December 14, 2006. The show is a benefit performance to raise funds for the ABS-CBN Foundation’s Bantay Bata Project, the primary charity of the Fil-Am Society.

Theodore “Teddy” Malagar, Vice-President of the Fil-Am Society, stated that the Society was thrilled and honored to have Martin perform for their growing group of members. “The Filipino community in the Coachella Valley – which includes Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, the Desert Cities and parts of the Riverside and Indio counties – is a growing population. There is an overwhelming hunger for Filipino talent to come to this part of Southern California. Martin’s willingness to perform for us, especially as a fundraiser, means a lot to the ‘kababayans’ here. All of the proceeds raised by the show will go directly to the Bantay Bata Project.”

The one-night only show will be held at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower, 39000 Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage, California 92270. General admission tickets are $55.00 and $75.00.
