Mr. SexyBack Justin Timberlake will take the box-office appeal this weekend as he leads a pack of other young and hot, talented actors in Hollywood, in his first feature lead debut, Alpha Dog, directed by Nick Cassavetes (The Notebook, John Q).

Timberlake, I must say, has successfully crossed-over in the acting arena with his stunning performance as Frankie, one of the kidnappers who has formed a bond with 15-year old Zack Mazursky (Anton Yelchin), the murdered victim.

The movie is inspired by the true life story of Jesse James Hollywood, a drug dealer who is one of the youngest men ever to appear in FBI’s Most Wanted Fugitive List (played by Emile Hirsch as Johnny Truelove in the movie). Hollywood was arrested in 2005 for the 2000 murder of teenager Nicholas Markowitz (played by Anton Yelchin) and is currently awaiting trial in California.

Alpha Dog is a thriller-drama with a star-studded cast, including Ben Foster (Jake, Zack’s older brother), David Thornton and Sharon Stone (who plays Butch Mazursky and Olivia Mazursky, Jake’s dad and step-mom), Bruce Willis (as Johnny’s dad, Sonny Truelove), Shawn Hatosy (Elvis Smith), Alec Vigil (PJ Truelove), Harry Dean Stanton (Cosmo Gadabeeti), Frank Cassavetes (Adrian Jones), Fernando Vargas (Tiko “TKO” Martinez), Matthew Barry (as the Interviewer), Joshua Alba (Klemash), Lukas Haas (Buzz Fecske), Alan Thicke (Douglas Holden), Heather Wahlquist (Wanda Haynes), Dominique Swain (Susan Hartunian), Chris Marquette (Keith Stratten), Paul Johansson, Olivia Wilde (Angela Holden), Charity Shea (Sabrina Pope), Amanda Seyfried (Julie Beckley), Vincent Kartheiser (Pick Giamo), and many more.

The movie, being released this weekend by Universal Pictures, is rated R for pervasive drug use and language, strong violence, sexuality and nudity. More pics from the World Premiere held at Cinerama Dome at Photo Gallery.
