OUTFEST LOS ANGELES 2013 announces Big Winners



Los Angeles, July 21, 2013, – Outfest – the Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization promoting equality by creating, sharing, and protecting LGBT stories on the screen – has announced the award winners of its 31st Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival.

The event, hosted by comedian and recipient of the '2010 Emerging Talent Award at Outfest Film Festival,' Drew Droege, was held with a brunch at the posh J.W. Marriott Hotel's Platinum Ballroom.

The nation’s leading LGBT festival and the oldest continuously running film festival in the city ran from July 11th to July 21st. Outfest Los Angeles 2013 closed with the screening at the Ford Amphitheatre of Darren Stein’s “G.B.F.,” starring Michael J. Willet, Andrea Bowen, Megan Mullally, Natasha Lyonne, Rebecca Gayheart, Paul Iacono, Sasha Pieterse, Xosha Roquemore and Horatio Sanz.
