Mic Diaz Presents Celebrates 1st Anniversary with an awards-concert fundraising show to benefit Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles to be held at Noypitz downtown, Los Angeles on Sept. 25

Mic Diaz Presents “Summer Night Party,” celebrating its first anniversary with a big bang!  A line-up of SoCal’s most talented singers, musicians, magicians, and comedians are set to perform at the same time announces the winners of the 1^st Mic Diaz Presents Awards Night as a way to recognize the talents and efforts of fellow Filipino-Americans who have guested on Mic Diaz Presents shows. 

This anniversary party is also a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, which supports the children of Los Angeles with their medical needs and the Grace of Almighty God Community, which serves COVID stricken patients and their families. 

The event will be held September 25, 2021 at the Noypitz Bar & Grill in Downtown Los Angeles, located at 333 S. Alameda St., Los Angeles, California in Little Tokyo at 6 p.m..  Current City COVID-19 protocols shall be observed.

Los Angeles-based marketing and fundraising professional Mic Diaz launched Mic Diaz Presents, a production company that strives to promote Filipino-American performing arts and its practitioners, as well as business owners, community partners and individuals, and to uplift our Filipino-American community through entertaining educational and engaging programs. Mic Diaz Presents delivers creative content that spreads the word about our community—their story, their brand and their business—through its various programs. Mic Diaz Presents produces in-person and virtual events such as concerts, podcasts, virtual markets, interviews and business spotlight interviews under the name Mic Diaz Presents.

In 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, Mic Diaz offered virtual classes as a way to engage the members of the most active Fil-Am Facebook group in SoCal. What started as weekly virtual lectures taught by various subject matter experts along with business spotlight interviews gradually blossomed into full-fledged weekly group interview panel podcasts featuring members from various sectors of the Filipino-American community on Thursdays as well as a virtual concert series on Fridays. Mic Diaz Presents is now producing live in-person concerts that feature artists, musicians, vocalists and entertainers from our community.

A visual artist and longtime arts advocate, Mic Diaz recently joined the Board of Directors of FilAm Arts, a local nonprofit organization in Southern California that brings people and communities together through the power of Filipino-American arts and culture. Prior to her recent activities in the Filipino-American community, award-winning project manager Mic began her professional career at one of L.A.’s premier presenters of performing arts in marketing and artist/guest relations roles. She has been in advertising and marketing roles in both public and private sectors.

The Summer Night Party is free to attend between 6 p.m. to12 midnight.  Attendees will be in for surprises as not only they will enjoy the entertainment but have the chance of winning donor prizes from several local clothing, accessories, skin care and food businesses that will be giving away their products.
