My fearless 2017 Golden Globes predictions — who are going to win?
By Oliver Carnay
.. and here are my 2017 Golden Globes fearless predictions:
Best Picture, Drama: “Manchester By the Sea” or “Moonlight” (I figured Golden Globe members would probably give it to “Manchester By the Sea” although I can’t see any flaws in the making of “Moonlight” — from cinematography, great acting ensemble, screenplay, in all aspect, this was a very well-made perfect film! .. hopefully, it will get the Oscar nod for Best Picture.)
Best Picture, Musical: “La La Land”
Best Film, Actress, Drama: Natalie Portman (“Jackie”)
Best Film, Actress, Comedy or Musical: Emma Stone (“La La Land”)
Best Film Actor, Drama: Casey Affleck (“Manchester By the Sea”)
Best Film Actor, Comedy or Musical: Ryan Gosling (“La La Land”) .. my 2nd choice is Ryan Reynolds in “Deadpool”
Best Film Supporting Actress: Michelle Williams (“Manchester By the Sea”)
Best Film Supporting Actor: Mahershala Ali (“Moonlight”) .. second choice is Aaron Taylor-Johnson for “Nocturnal Animals”
Best Director: Kenneth Lonergan (“Manchester By the Sea”) .. or Barry Jenkins for “Moonlight” (again, I think they would go with Kenneth Lonergan)
