August 4, 2017---The Academy Awards® qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival is teaming up with Project Greenlight Digital Studios (PGLDS) for a special PitchFest Competition at this year’s HollyShorts, the 13th edition of the annual festival.
Project Greenlight Digital Studios is a story-driven creative community that empowers the next generation of great filmmakers. Founded by Adaptive Studios – the partners behind the Project Greenlight television series on HBO – PGLDS is an incubator for premium digital content produced, written, and directed by new and emerging talent.
The Project Greenlight Digital Studios PitchFest is a chance for creators of all experience levels to pitch their original ideas for short-form digital series to executives from PGLDS. One winner will be awarded a $5,000 prize and a general meeting with Adaptive and PGLDS creative development teams.
The PitchFest takes place on Friday, August 11 at 11:00am during the HollyShorts Film Conference, a special co-located event during this year’s festival at the Roosevelt Hotel.
To qualify for the session, filmmakers must have officially selected projects at this year’s HollyShorts.
